During P.E lessons we aim to give students exposure to a variety of different sports. We believe that if each student leaves school with one physical activity they want to continue, then we have been successful.
At KS3 the school works closely with the Guernsey Sports Commission to allow the students to experience a variety of sports that might not have previously been available to them. This includes tennis, athletics, fencing, badminton, rugby, volleyball, football, gym, health-related fitness and basketball.
Our KS4 students study either the 'iGCSE' or the 'BTEC Sport and Active Leisure' course. Both courses emphasise participation and exposure to team and individual sports as well as including a number of theory elements. These include anatomy & physiology, fitness & exercise and sport psychology.
In addition, we also offer extra-curricular sports clubs including basketball and gym club.
