Here at Les Voies we follow a Thematic Curriculum across 5 years, 1 theme per term. Each theme has been carefully chosen to engage and excite the learners, whilst meeting all skills and objectives of the Guernsey Big Picture Curriculum. The themes consist of local, technological, historical and artistic topics. Take a look at the topics below.
The themes span across both Key Stage 2 and 3 classes and conclude with a house competition relating to that theme. A spiral curriculum runs parallel to the thematic curriculum; when a theme is revisited by a student, it will be at an increasing complexity, reinforcing previous learning.
